We have wine tastings in Austin???

If you are a repeat offender here, you may have noticed some recent changes.  We have been working on the skin of Austin Epicurean.  We want to make the content informative as well as enjoyable.  It will always be a work in progress, but we want to make sure we come through in serving the Austin Epicurean Community.  If you like the changes, comment.  If you don’t like them, comment.  We got thick skins and welcome any feedback.  Not only can you offer your comments, you can do so as a guest, so we won’t know who you are.  Hazing without retribution, how sweet is that?

If you are new here, as far as you know, it has always looked and felt this great, so please enjoy the pages.  But please feel free to add your $.02 as we welcome the input.

We have made some changes to Food Events in and around Austin.  The events are updated almost daily, and since it seems popular, we have added a page focused specifically on the Terlingua International Chili Championships.  There is a complete list of dates and challenges.  If there are other events you would like us to dedicate a food page to, let us know.  We would be happy to accommodate.  We will start to add additional competitions and events in the state soon.

As for the Vino, we have another few pages dedicated to various Wine Tastings throughout Austin and the surrounding area.  First and foremost we have those in Austin, of which there are several this weekend.  Take some time to relax and find a good wine to take home for the weekend.  If you are traveling, we have added listings in San Antonio, Houston, The Hill Country and the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.  Trust me, you can never have an overstocked cellar.
